Programme Specific Outcome

To impart knowledge on different topics of physics viz, classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics, thermodynamics, mathematical physics and analytic of the level expected from a graduate in physics.

• PO1: Apply conceptual understanding of Physics to general real world situation.
• PO2: Analyze and developed correct solutions using natural laws.
• PO3: Learn to minimize contributing variables and recognize the limitation of equipment.
• PO4: Learn the laboratory skills and safety to transfer and interpret knowledge in the working environment.
• PO5: Recognize and appreciate the connection of physics with branches of science like chemistry and mathematics.
• PO6: Describe the methodology of science and the relationship between observation and theory.
• PO7: This is a practical course aimed to impart a first exposure to the students on various chemicals.
